Stopping the School Shooter

A multi-media presentation to provide municipal and campus police officers with the knowledge to help them reduce their school’s risk of lethal violence through the use of prevention, intervention and response strategies. Warning signs, threat assessments, lock-down procedures are covered, as is the necessity of redundancy in prevention strategies. Acknowledging that school shootings can occur anywhere, the presentation will close with an inspiring personal action plan that can save lives of students, educators and responding police officers.

Very Well done – nice delivery – good sense of humor. Most important, a lot of useful information…awareness – awareness – awareness.

Chief Richard Wilcox — Stockbridge Police Department

Your presentation was spot on and was well received by members of our audience. You did an excellent job reminding us of how the warning signs are there, and often it takes acts of courage on behalf of educators to come forward with the knowledge they are in possession of. Your presentation is important for everyone to hear.

Lt. Scott Sencabaugh — Unit Commander NEMLEC STARS

Should be required in all school systems!
Jane Ames, Teacher — Amherst Regional High School

I came away from this seminar with something that will directly benefit my school! The concepts discussed are easy to understand and can be implemented by anyone. Your presentation was very well done.
David Nasiff, Teacher — Freetown–Lakeville Public Schools

Thank you. Awesome to hear a class taught by a chief so positive towards schools and SRO’s!

Officer Lou Pacheco — Raynham Police Department

Common sense approach to help recognize potential problems. The “staying alive” message hit home fore me!
Tony Ammendolia, Teacher — Acton-Boxborough Regional School

You did a fantastic job on your presentation on school safety. I have taught for many years and that presentation was one of the best I have seen. The presentation was very professionally done and held the interest of all the professionals that were in the room. It was the last part of a long professional development day but you kept everyone interested on the subject. NICE JOB!
Mrs. Brouker, Teacher — Lee High School

I liked the stories that enhanced the points of view. I thought the presentation was extremely informative.
Elizabeth Haygood, Teacher — Amherst Regional High School
